PEDLAR’S FAIR
A pedlars’ fair was held in St. Paul s Schoolroom yesterday afternoon and evening for the purpose of raising funds for the church The various staffs were well suppled with articles of all descriptions, and satisfactory business has to bo .recorded An excellent entertainment was given both in the afternoon and evening. Mi« Doreen Wheeler was seen in a number of ScoUrsn dances, and charmed e 'T^X a uf Jbh graceful performance. A Tableaux, with fongs by Miss Heywood, and a play entitled “Snowed up with B Duchess also met with the entire approval df those prosent The entertainments were under the control of Mrs Martin. , The staff holders were as follows: Work Stall.*— Mrs Heenan and members ° f produco dl S B taff!—Mrs Haddock and Mrs B Swee‘i° l 'Stall*.—Mrs F. H. King. Flower-pot Stepping Competition.—Mrs Hocken in charge. Hoopla.—Mrs Heywood in charge. Tearoom. —MrS Lockhart and Mrs dumber of girls lent valuable assistance. 1
