Tlye Now Zealand Glass Works (Ltd.) is a company now being founded to manufacture glassware of every description. According to the prospectus, there is an important market ready and waiting for tho products of the proposed company, which statement is borne out by official figures of dominion imports. In 1920 over £600.000 worth of glassware was imported into New Zealand—glass bottles (empty) alone amounted to over £125,000. A review of the operations of the Australian Glass Manufacturers Co. (Ltd.) is also featured ln ’the prospectus, it being contended that labour conditions, etc., of this country are similar to those of Australia, so that a New Zealand company has every chance of being as successful as the Australian company. The capital of the proposed New Zealand company is £150,000 divided into 150,000 shares off £1 each. The minimum subscription for going to allotment is 36,000 jharoa. 1
