SEVENTEEN OF THE CREW DROWNED
PARIS, April 28,
A message from Havre states that 17 of the crew, including the captain, were drowned when the 3000-ton' steamer Depute Albert Taillaudier foundered in a gale in the Channel. Ten survivors were picked up by a British steamer and landed.— Reuter.
