NEW YORK, April 29. (Received April 30, at 5.5 p.m.) Telegrams from Natchez report that a bad break occurred in the Mississippi River levee at Ferriday, Louisiana. The water is sweeping over the villages and plantations, inundating large areas. Ten thousand people have abandoned their homes.—A. and N.Z. Cable. >
