(Received April 3G, at 11.60 p.m.) The Westminster Gazette’s political critic forecasts Monday’s Budget to include a reduction of Is in the income tax. Id on sugar, 2d on tea, some postal concessions, and a small reduction in the entertainments tax, the total reductions amounting to £60,000,000. The critic suggests that the sinking fund may be suspended, though the interest will have to be paid.— Reuter.
