CARGO FROM VANCOUVER. A cabled message received by H. L. Tappley and Co. reports that the Canadian Transporter left Vancouver on April 15, cargo laden for Auckland, Wellington, Sydney, He’.. bourne, end Adelaide. The vessel is due at Auckland about May 14, and at Wellington about May 19. H.M.S. VERONICA AT AUCKLAND H.M.S. Veronica arrived at Auckland on Tuesday morning after an absence of 27 days on a cruise to Fiji. If was the first cruise ■of the -vessel since she was recommissioned with a new crew from England on March 22. She left Auckland on March 29 and arrived at Suva on April 4. She stayed at Suva for five days, then wont to Lautoka. After nine days at Lautoka she returned to Suva on April 19 and sailed the following day for Auckland. The usual routine work of a man-of-war was carried out, the cruise being mainly to give the crew some sea condition in ,their new vessel WAITOMO TO LOAD PHOSPHATES. W. Line steamer City of Winchester, which is under the agency of the Federal Line, arrived at Dunedin on Saturday evening from New York, via Newport News, Panama, and northern New Zealand ports. She berthed at the Victoria wharf to discharge about 500 tons of general cargo, including 2500' cases of case oil and 1000 cases of kerosene. She left New York on February 30, and after bunkering at Newport News, ’passed through the Panama Canal on March 9. The remainder of the voyage woe vrithout special incident. After discharge Hl.o will load £or London at Tiraoru, Oamaru, New Plymouth, and Wellington, under tho auspices of tho Shaw Savill and Albion Company.
