A harvest thanksgiving service was he'd in the Presbyterian Church, Middlemarch, oi> Sunday last. The pulpit and tailings were prettily decorated by Mesdames Wise and Finnie and Miss M'Clintock. Sheafs of coin with flowers, fruits, and vegetables made an effective harvest display. As a result of an appeal ftom the pulpit nearly a ton of vegetables and fruit were forwarded; to the Presbyterian Orphanage in Ihmedin.
