HOSPITAL ENTERTAINMENT.
On Saturday evening the inmates and nursing staff of the Wakari Hospital were entertained hv the “Ideal Entertainers,'’ each of the items contributed being greatly appreciated. iVlLss A Wills danced ;; Highland Fling and an Irish Jig in a stylo which met with the approval of all present. Pianoforte selections were capably rendered by Misses D. Stentiford, E. Crawford, and Waldron. Songs contributed by the following were very well received : Miss Morrison. Miss B. Leoffler. Mi* 15. Stentiford. Mr G. Bennot, (comic songs) Messrs Anthony and W. W. Holmes. A duct given by Miss D. Stentiford and Mr G. Bonnet met with hearty applause. Miss Morrison, who was accompanist for the evening, fulfilled her duties creditably. At: the conclusion of the programme the matron and inmates conveyed their thanks to the artists for the happy evenin'? spent. The programme arrangements and organising of the entertainment were carried out bv Mr G. Bennot, who worked hard to make the entertainment. which was rff n purely voluntary nature., the success it proved to be.
