THE WOOL TARIFF. Pr*M Association—By Telegraph—Oopyrifhfc WASHINGTON, March 24. The Senate’s Finance Committee agreed on the wool schedule in the Permanent ” Tariff Bill. The 35 per cent, ad valorem limitation was cancelled. The 25 per centclean contents rate was increased to 3S cents per lb. Wool which has advanced in any manner or by any process of manufacture beyond washed or scoured condi- ■ tion, and is valued at not more than 30 cents per lb, is placed on the tariff at 21 cents and 25 cents ad valorem. Wool, valued at over 30 cents per lb is placed on the tariff at 36 cents specific and 25 v per cent, ad valorem. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
