The Kaituna, which left Lyttelton on Friday evening for Dunedin was delayed by bad weather, and consequently did not reach this port till yesterday. After completing the discharge of her Australian cargo she will load timber for Melbourne at Greymouth. The Kylebeg, from Wellington, should arrive here on Thursday morning to load for Wanganui, via ports. The John, from Wellington, is due here ,40-day to- load for, ‘Wanganui, via ports. The Gale, from Lyttelton, is due at Dunedin to-day to load cargo for Wanganui, via Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington. Thp Calm, from Lyttelton, is also due here to-day to load for Napier and Gisborne, via Timaru and Lyttelton. The Wingatui, from Auckland, via Wellington* and Lyttelton, is due at Dunedin about Thursday, and on completing discharge she. will load, for Auckland, via ports. The Union Steam Ship Company advises that the R.M.S. Tahiti, en route from San Francisco and Papeete, left Rarptonga on Monday morning last ter Wellington, where she is due at daybreak today. She is to sail from Wellington to-morrow for Sydney. Captain B. C. Vellenoweth, formerly of the Kiftawa, is to go to Auckland to take charge of the Flora, which will be recommissioned at the northern port in April. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Tasmania, which is at present in Australia, is due in New Zealand about April 17 to load ter London end New York. The Woikouaiti, with a full shipment of general cargo, left Sydney on Friday afternoon for Bluff, Dunedin, and Lyttelton. Mariners are notified by the Marine Department that the beacon that formerly existed bn Oke Rock, near Pelorus Sound, has been destroyed, and thst the spot is nowmarked by a buoy. The C. and D. She is due at Auckland on May 1, and at Wellington a week later. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that the Kaikoura, which left Wellington on February 17 for London, continued her voyage from Colon on March 19. H.M.S. Chatham will be floated out of the Calliope dock at Auckland on Wednesday alter undergoing overhaul. Her place in the - dock will be taken by the Melanesian Mission .-eteamer Southern Croee, which will be made ready for her approaching trip to the Southwestern Islands. It is peported that the steamer Tregantlo sailed from Cardiff on February 13 coal-laden for Auckland, and cleared Panama on March 2. She ia expected at Auckland to-day. , WELSH COAL FOR NEW ZEALAND. The Shaw-Savill end Albion steamer Hatakana .left Cardiff on March 17 vdth a cargo of Welsh coal for Wellington. She is due at Wellington about April 24. WESTMORELAND AT MONTEVIDEO. The Federal steamer Somerset arrived at Wellington from Napier on Sunday of laist week for further loading. After calling at Wanganui she will return to Wellington before sailing for Avonmouth, Liverpool, Manchester, and Glasgow. WAIWERA FOR NEW YORK. Dalgety and Co. advise that the Waiwera is due at Wellington to-day from Bluff to complete her loading. She is scheduled to leaye Wellington on Thursday for Boston, New York, and London. AMENDED SYDNEY TIME-TABLE. Owing to the inter-colonial passenger timetable having been dislocated somewhat by the laying up of the Maheno at Sydney, the following will be the movements of the steamers until the regular time-table is overtaken, when the three steamers will run as before:—The, Manuka, from Wellington, is due at Sydney to-day, and will leave there the same day for Auckland, where she is duo on Friday. She will leave Auckland on April 1 for Sydney and Wellington. The Moeraki, which has replaced the Mali ono, was due at Sydney from Wellington on Friday. She will leave Sydney on March 30 for Auckland, where she is due on April 3, and will sail again fox Sydney on April e. The TJlimaroa, from Syctney, is due at Wellington on Wednesday, and is to sail on the return voyage on Friday. CITY OP HANKOW’S ARRIVAL. The City of Hankow, from New York and Norfolk (Va.), via northern ports, arrived in Dunedin on Saturday afternoon, and berthed at the Victoria wharf to discharge about 1000 tens of American cargo, which includes 10,000 cases of oil Although under the auspices of the A. and A. Line as a chartered steamer, she is owned by the Ellermann—Hall Lines, Liverpool. She left New York on January 13, and the voyage to the dominion was uneventful.
