, Following & dull, and threatening morning and early afternoon, with a Tow, but steady, barometer, it was not auzpnatng that heavy rain set in during the carry part of last evening. For several days the weather haabeen very unsettled, and mild rain showers h&T* repeatedly fallen, with occasional snow showers on high levels. The weather continues. unsettled and showery. DIPTON. March 21. Hie rainfall registered hers for tire 24 hours ended 9.30 a.m. on Wednesday was 74 point*.
