Many members of the C.T. and W.A. are also members of the Dunedin Bowling Club, while other commercials arc members of other howling clubs in and around Dunedin, and there is a spirit of camaraderie which enhances the pleasure oi the annual reunion. Heretofore the “Commercials” have taken charge of tho proceedings. merely asking the club for the use of thh green and opponents to play against their selected players. On this occasion tho Dunedin- Club made the match one of the functions of its jubilee year and entertained the "Commercials” as their guests. The recoil t spell of had weather threatened to place n damper on the gathering, hut a tew enthusiasts never lost faith in the weather, and their confidence was fully justified, for although the day was overcast and threatening the rain held off until after the players had left for their homes. The green was in good order, cancel ally in the afternoon, and though a trifle heavy for long "ends,” both tho morning and afternoon games provided close and keen contests, the parent club (Dunedin) winning on both occasions. There was a good attendance of spectators, including quite a number of ladies, especially in tho afternoon, and the members of the Dunedin Club’s Social Committee provided a delicious tea., both in tho morning and afternoon, for players and visitors. Before pro ccedings ootnmeTTced in tlie morning the visitorb o.ordinlly and warmly welcomed by tho president of tho Dunedin Club (Mr Charles Fraser), who expressed tho hope that the reunion, which up to the present had proved so enjoyable, would long be continued in the eame sociable and friendlv spirit. Mr F. IT. King (president of the C.T.W.A) briefly replied, and play was at once _ proceeded with—nine rinks aside. The following are tlie names of the players and the scores:

DUNEDIN CENTRE v. SKACLIFFWAIKOUAITI. A party of bowlers representing tho Dunedin Centre journeyed to Seacliff yesterday and plaved a match against tho Seacliff and Waikouaiti Clubs. The Dunedin players won by a margin of seven points. The visitors were moat hospitably entertained by their hosts, and returned to town well pleased with the outing. The scores wore as follow ;
