PARLIAMENTARY COMMITTEE’S LABOURS. (Per United Press Association.) W ELLINGTON, March 23. The Parliamentary Committee (Mr F. F. Hookly, M.P.. chairman) set up to consider what amendments of the licensing laws may he necessary, in the event of national no* license not being carried in December next, finished its task to-dav, so far the the recess work is concerned. The report of the committee is to be presented to the House of Representatives next session. The Chairman informed a press representative that the' committee will meet again at the commencement of the session before finally putting its report into shape for submission to Parliament.
