ACCEPTING A BRIBE

(Received March 23, at 11.10 p.m.) Governor Robinson, of Oklahoma, has been arrested on a charge of accepting a bribe of 25,000 dollars to permit the operation of a banking institution while it was alleged to be insolvent. Prominent bankers and other State officials indicated that the result was the failure of several State banks. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
