GENOA CONFERENCE
GERMANY’S REPRESENTATION. SIXTY DELEGATES TO ATTEND. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright PARIS, March 22. A telegram from Berlin states that Dr Wirth does not intend to attend the Genoa Conference unless M. Poincare and Mr Lloyd George take part. Germany’s delegation will number 60, including Herr Hermes, Minister of Finance.—A. and N.Z. Cable. BRITISH DELEGATES. MR LLOYD GEORGE’S ATTENDANCE DESIRABLE. LONDON, March 22. (Received March 23, at 5.5 p.m.) Mr Chamberlain, replying to the question in the House of Commons, said that Cabinet did not intend to reconsider the question of Mr Lloyd George attending the Genoa Conference. He said it would be a misfortune for other countries besides Great Britain if Mr Lloyd George did not attend.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
