AMUSEMENTS.
A double-feature programme is being presented at the Octagon Theatre. The star films are a Universal production. “False Kisses,’ 7 and a British picture, “The Channings.’’ Constance Talmadge is seen in “Wedding Bells,” the leading attraction at the Queen’s Theatre. A comedy and other features are included in tlie programme, “Footlights,” with Flsie Ferguson in a leading role, and a comedy, “Now or Never,” are the two headliners in the now programme at' lhe Empire ’theatre. Both pictures am of a most interesting description, and the photography leaves nothing to be desired. A number of supports are included. Karlo Williams has a prominent part in “’the Romance Promoters,” the star feature in the change of programme at the King Edward Theatre. The story has manyexciting incidents, and the plot is well worked out.. A Christie Comedy is included in the supports. Several excellent subjects are included in the new programme at the Plaza Theatre. A fine story is unfolded in “Queenio,” a Fox production, in which Shirley Mason enacts the leading role. “The Fighter,” featuring Oonway Tcarle, an international news, and other subjects are included. "The Gentleman Bushranger” is proving a popular draw at Everybody's Theatre. The picture was produced in Australia, and is a very creditable effort. A lengthy series of pictures is being shown in the new programme at tlre Grand Theatre. The popular screen actress, Shirley Mason, takes the title role in “Queenie,” and Conway 1 carle has a congenial part in “The Fighter.” The supports include a new episode of “Flaming Disk.”
