PRINCESS THEATRE
The present programme at the Princess Theatre is likely to prove on© of the most popular shown at that place of amusement tor some time past. Flora Cromer, an English comedians, with a high reputation, is (a somewhat rare occurrence) living up to it, each of her items being received with rapturous applause. She also showed that she is capable of treating a pathetioal subject as it should be treated, but it is in the comedy turn; that she is likely to win most favour. Remona proves, that it is possible to do not only two but five different things at practically the same time, and keep up a chatty monologue while she is doing.so. It is a clever turn, and decidedly out of the common. Toots and Tootles, two bright children, give a song and dance turn that, even criticising them on the same level as adults, is a most entertaining item. There is a naturalness about their actions that compels admiration, and, if they are properly Handled, they should make names for themselves on the vaudeville stage. Each of the other performers won, his or her way into favouritism last week, and In their new turns are equally popular. The same programme will ho repeated to-night.
