ALMA TIRTSCHKE’S Father. ATTRIBUTED TO STRAY BULLET. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, January 31. Harry Tirtschke, father of Alma Tirtschke, the girl who was recently murdered in Melbourne, went out shooting with his nephew. The latter was using a Winchester rifle. Ho missed his uncle soon after starting, and failed to find him. Search parties next day discovered Tirtschke dead, with a bullet wound in the neck. The nephew denied any knowledge of the cause of his uncle’s death. The supposition is that a stray bullet killed him.
