Jockey Club’s summer meeting, postponed from Saturday, was held in fine weather to-day, tho course being in good order. There was excellent racing. Tho attendance wan very large, and tho totslisator handled £69,395 10s,’ as against £56,327 for th© first day of last year’s summer meeting. - -TRIAL HANDICAP, of 2Sosows. Entering the straight Landslide challenged, and though carried but in the straight by Tinohoro boring over, won by a neck j Geoffrey two lengths away, third. Marble Slab was fourth.
