The Daily Chronicle’s Betlin correspondent states that the Govenmeut has obtained a promise of the support of a Reichstag majority for a compulsory loan bringing in £50,<500,000 for the payment of the reparations. , It is believed that the Allies will regard this as a satisfactorv reply to the Reparations Commission's demand made at Cannes, accompanied fay . a period of grace which expired to-day for information regarding Germany's financial reforms to meet the reparations.—A. and N.Z.
