The municipality of * Ravenna, in Italy, has arranged that_ certain fragments of Pante’s bones, which were, abstracted at the time of the sixth centenary of his birth in 1865, buo were subsequently recovered, should be joined to the rest of the skeleton. The poet’s coffin has therefore been opened, the bones placed in their proper place and ibfi coffin closed again.
