A YOUNG'MAN' DROWNED. . . (Pee United Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, January.2s. 1 A young man 'named Walter Wgighb ' was drowned in the Wyndham River ; tniai ' morning. lie was assisting his employer, Mr J. B; Taylor, to cart slakes., The horses ran. back, throwing the dray into . the river, which was deep at that spot. Mr Taylor’s little son was in the dray, but was thrown clear by his father, but ■ the two men went down with the dray. Mr Taylor managed to reach the bank', but .Wright was not seen again, being probably pinned under the dray. Two Of the horses wens drowned. The police are dragging for., Wright’s body: . . •
