DUNEWN STOCK EXCHANGE. There was a. fair amount of business transacted on ’Change yesterday.. Union Bank had good attention. In the room there were sales at £l2 3fl 6d and £l2 3s in the morning, and two sales at-£l2 3s in the afternoon; there was also a sale reported at £l2 3s 6d, The market dosed with a buyer at £l2 Is and a seller at £l2 3s 6d. Government 44, per cent, bond* (1939) changed hands at £B6, and more were wanted at tho same figure, but the seller asked £B6 10s. Other stocks were practically unchanged in - price. Sales: Union Bank, £l2 3s 6d, £l2 3s; Government per cent, bonds (1939), £B6. Sale reported: Union Hank, £l2 3s 6d.
