LOVELL’S FLAT SPORTS

The third animal gathering 1 of the Lovell’s / LI at Sports Society was hold on Tuesday last, and proved a decided success. The weather was ideal, and close on 700 spectators assembled. The entries were numerous, and in most of the events were wall above those of the two previous eporta meetings. The gate takings were also , far in advance, the exact amount being £2O 17s in cash, while about the same amount 'was obtained by the sale of tickets.
