Three men tv fere killed owing to a boiler bursting at the Australian Portland cement works at Fyansfdrd, They were Charles Curtis, George Lidstone, and Alexander Clavarino. The men were having lunch at the time. They were two' feet in front ,of the furnace, when the explosion occurred and a stream of steam and ashes was shot out.
