FIRE IN PICTURE THEATRE
KINEMA FILM IN FLAMES. (Per United Press Association.) ' AUCKLAND. January 5. A kinema film caught fire at the Foresters’ Theatre, Onchunga, yesterday afternoon, when 120 children were present. The operator grasped the film with a sack and carried it downstairs. Colliding with the doorkeeper, ho dropped the burning mass. The flames spread to the operating room and anterooms, and did considerable damage before the fire was extinguished by the brigade. The children were removed from the building uninjured.
