ANGLICAN BIBLE CLASSES

UNION’S FIRST CONFERENCE. (Peb United Press Association.) CARTERTON, January 4. The first annual conference of the’ New Zealand Anglican. Bible Class Union is being held here, and is attended by a large number of delegates from various parts of New" Zealand. The Rev. A. G. L., Blackbourne (of Palmerston North) presided, and tho Bishop of Nelson gave an address. Remits of importance to the Bible class movement were discussed and arrangements made for ai., progressive campaign during the ooming i \year. The Dominion Executive will be situated at Wellington for another year, and the next conference will be held at Christchurch. During the course of the conference an interesting paper was read by the Revs. Austin (Wanganui Collegiate School) and Dent (Greytown).
