CIVIL SERVANTS SICK PAY
NEW BASIS FORMED. (Pbs United Phess Association.) WELLINGTON, December 8. In future sick pay is to be paid to 'civil servants according to length of service on the following basis: Under three months’ service, one week on full pay; under six months’ service,, two weeks on full pay; over six and under nine months’ service, one month on full pay; under five years’ service, one month on full and one month on haif-pay; over 5 and under 10 years’ service, two months on full and two months on halt-pay; over 10 and under 15 years’ service, three months on full and three months on half-pay; over 15 and under 25 years’ service, four months on full and four months on half-pay; over 25 and under 36 years’ service, five months on full and five months on half-pay; over 35 years' service, six months on full and six months on half-pay.
