WOMEN FOOTBALLERS
ASSOCIATION’S ATTITUDE RESENTED. Pi—m A uooiatioB —By Tele grapfc—Copyright. LONDON, December 7. Women footballers are most indignant at the official action of the Football Association debarring them from playing on blub grounds. The association’s resolution expressing the strong opinion that football is quite unsuitable for females and ought to be discontinued is regarded with particular resentment. The prohibition will not prevent them continuing playing. They state that the games are not frivolous, and that they are certainly not prejudicial to health is already realised by the fact that £IOO,OOO has been realised for charity from matches.
