Katherine M'Donald will appear at the Queen’s Theatre to-day in “Tho Thunderbolt.” In this picture her poise and emotional power, coupled with her flawless beauty, make her presentation of tho young girl thrust into loveless marriage, that a family feud may bo fought to a finish along diabolically conceived lines, little short of magnificent. Contrast is furnished by Tom. Meighan, of “Miracle Man” fame, who has the remarkable role of the husband i 7 who bends his wife to his will—a hatred-inspired will to be avenged on her family by refusing her the sacred right to motherhood. A daring theme, superbly carried out, “The Thunderbolt” is a picture that has already created widespread comment, and will cause more.
