WEST LEWISHAM BY-ELECTION. CONSERVATIVE RETURNED. Press Association —By Telegraph-Copyright LONDON, September 14. The election to replace Major Sir E. F. Coatea (deceased) in West Lewisham resulted in the return of Sir Philip Dawson (Conservative), who polled 9427 votes. Mr Windham (Ar.ti-waste) received 8580 votes, and Mr Eaffety (Liberal) 6211.—A. and N.Z. Cable. [Major Sir E. P. Coates (Co.-U.) was returned unopposed at the General Election.]
