AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL’S OBJECTION. (Peb United Puess Association.) AUCKLAND, August 11. The Cjty Council to-night ..adored the committee’s recommendation objecting to the definition of war graves submttodjbjr the Internal Affairs Department. T^je‘i>b* jection raised is to the restriction of future burials to soldiers who die of disabilities' contracted or aggravated by war service within 12 months after their discharge, but who have been continuously under treatment since their discharge. The council set aside 10 acres for a returned soldiers' cemetery, and the restriction would allow very few burials. It was pointed out that war disability was often recurring, and it was contended that all such oaset-u should be eligible and entitled to the hCOy ‘ our of interment in war graves. '■ _ - " -
