(Received Aug. 11, at 8.10 p.m.) It is officialy reported from Melilla that hostilities have ceased, and the enemy forces are dwindling. Other reports represent General Navarro’s position as more critical. His force depends for its water on ice conveyed by aeroplanes.—Reuter. SPANISH POLITICAL CRISIS. RESIGNATION OF CABINET. LONDON, August 11. (Received August 11, at 8.50 p.m.) A Madrid telegram reports that the Spanish Cabinet has resigned to enable the King to find a political solution of the problem caused by the events in Morocco.—A. and N.Z.
