(Received August 11, at 8.50 p.m.) When a military aeroplane was flying over Aldershot at a height of 20.000 feet the observer’s oxygen pipe brike. pilot offered to hand over his pipe, but the observer pluckily refused, saying he could go another 3000 feet. The plane ascended that height, and when it descended the observer was delirious, but he has since recovered. -

(Received August 11, at 8.45 p.m.) The Ruhara Trading Companv, with a capital of 10,000,000 ven, which was founded in 1912 and which is one of the largest exporting firms in Japan, has announced that it will dose its doors at the end of August.
