Two thousand seven hundred men and women delegates, from 40 nationalities, including official representatives from Belgium, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Saxony, Ukraine, and Jugo-Slavia, ire attending the Esperanto Conference. Or Nitobe, League of Nations’ representative, said that no international subject was more important than international language. The abolition of war was their chief objective. He anticipated n period when the peace seekers of all nations would find a common language. German Esperantists were particularly warmly welcomed, the Britishers gathering at the stations and cheering them <?n route.
