The Georgian Government has telefraphed a denial -of thl reported fall of 'iflis.—Reuter, ANARCHY AND PILLAGE RAMPANT. BATOUM THREATENED. LONDON, February 28. (Received March 1, at 7.30 p.m. Reports as to the position at. Tiflis are conflicting. The Georgian Government telegrams state, that it has not fallen, while a Constantinople . correspondent states, that anarchy and pillage are rampant in Tififs, due to Bolshevist agents demoralising the Georgian army, which later melted away, allowing the Bolshevist army to capture, the town without resistance. Another Bolshevist army is marching upon Batoiim, on which a Turkish army is also marching. The Moslem population will certainlysupport the latter. —The Times. . ARMENIA AND KURDISTAN. LONDON, March 1. (Received March 1, at 9.55 p.m.) The Daily Express states that the Supreme Council has agreed' to institute an examination into the questions off Armenia and Kurdistan.
