Frees Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, January 31. (Received Feb. 1, at 9.30 p.m.) To-day’s Emigration Conference, under the chairmanship of Colonel D. C. M. S. Amery (Secretary of State for the Colonies), was devoted solely to the discussion of Senator Millon’s proposals. Eventually it was decided to refer to the Treasury for a report as to whether it was prepared to co-operate in financing land settlement schemes overseas.
