CITY RENT WHICH HAS INCREASED FROM £lls TO £7OO.
Figures given a short time ago in the Daily Chronicle showed that rents for some premises in the City of London had advanced by nearly 600 per cent. The following are a few examples then supplied by an official of the City Tenants’ Defence Association disclosing the demands which landlords were making: Old New Old New
