LORD HAIG’S VISIT
INVITATION DECLINED
(Pm Uumro Pans Association.) WELLINGTON, January 31. In reply to the invitation given Fieldmarshal Lord Haig to visit New Zealand after the returned soldiers’ conference in South Africa, the Prime Minister has received the following cablegram:— “Much touched by your invitation; regret unable to visit New Zealand at present.—Haig.”
