NEW YORK, January 27. A remarkable case at Los Angeles is attracting national attention. It has been •revealed that a beautiful woman, Mrs Withell, who is 23 years of age, has been stolen by men who called and said that her husband had bean injured in an automobile accident. Mrs Withell left her 18-month-old baby with a neighbour. •Mr Withell received a note demanding 60,000d0l as ransom, and stating that all would be lost if the police were notified. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
