September 25 Strong comment was made during Chamber proceedings beforo the Chief Justice by Mr Myers, counsel for Mrs Pearco, in a successful action for divorce against G V Pearce, ex-M-P. for Patea, on tho absence of the respondent, who, it was alleged, had committed flagrant contempt of court in being a party to his youngest daughter Hazel Pearce leaving tho dominion against an order of the .court c iving the mother the custody of the daughter.
