REUNION OF PARTIES.
CONFERENCE FAILS,
Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. CAPETOWN, September 24. The Bloemfontein Reunion Conference dissolved without finding a basis of reunion.
The Hon. F. S. Malan (Minister of Mines) stated that the cause of the failure was the Nationalists' insistence on recognition of the ideal of secesssion in the constitution of the United Party, to which the bouth African Party delegates refused to agree. The latter unanimously adopted the committee's report, regretting that the efforts made toward the reunion of parties was unsuccessful.—A. and N.Z. Cable
