DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. Business has been slightly more active during the past week, and a fuir amount of transactions have been put through in a wido variety of stocks. A feature of the market was the rise in contributing Refrigerating shares about the middle of the week when heavy buying orders came in. On Tuesday they were selling at 245, and on Wednesday prices ranged between 23s lid and 21b 3d. Thers has been a decline sincennd sales were niacte yesterday at 24s Id and 245. the closing quotations being 23s 10d and 24s Id for buyers and sellers respectively. Mount Lyclls wore disposed of on Saturday at 23s 9d, an Thursday nt 23s Bd, and were offered yesterday at 23s 10d. P. and 0. stocks have shown considerable improvement since they changed hands on Saturday at £410. On Monday they wore eold at £430, a sale was reported on Tuesday at :S43G, and the latest figures show buyers efferin-r £431 and sellers asking £446. "Westport Ccals have been attracting considerable attention, and business was passing at 30s up till Thursday, when a sale was recorded at 303 3d. Goklsbrough, ilorts were selling on Saturday and Monday at 46s 6d, but they have- since weakened, selling yesterday at 465; In the afternoon they were offered at 46a 3d without result. Donaghy's Hope, were bought on Saturday a 30s, and are now inquired for at that figure. • Business -was recorded in Papuan Products at 2s, and Westport-Stock-tons changed hands on Wednesday at Bs. A eale of Otago Daily Times was effected on Wednesday at 495. The only insurance business record-d has been in New Zealands, which changed hands yesterday at 29s 7d and 29s 6cl. Isow Zealand Shipping were offered yesterday at £10 15s, but there was no declared buyer. .
