Tho tramway workers in Manchester, Salford, Oldham, Huddersfield, Cardiff, Llanelly, and Swansea, by rejecting tha recent settlement offer, havo rendered the services in those towns idle. Tho Scottish Miners' Conference at Glasgow advised the rejection of* the Government's offer to the miners, while'the Durliam Miners' Executive advised the acceptance of the offer. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
