The organisation of a United States Davis Cup team has already been undertaken by the Lawn Tennis Association. If possible, the team will play the South Africans in England, going on to Australia in January. It is expected in some quarters that it will be more formidable than tho famous 1914 team. Johnston, Murray, Williams, and Tilden are considered most likely to secure positions. Altogether 10 players have been asked if they are prepared to make the trip.
