At a conference of League footballers the coming visit of the English team was discussed. The Hawke's Bay fixture was cancelled, and a North Island match substituted. The South Island match will be played at Greymouth, if acceptable to the v local league. It was decided to recommend the sending of a New Zealand team to England in 1922, and to make inquiries as to the possibility of arranging such a tour. A ;series of trial matches will be played before the selection of the representative team to meet the Englishmen.
