THE ST.. CLAIR BEACH.

to the editor., Sib, —If '.'Lover of Nature" -will look up the records he will find that the northerly gales were not followed here by Eoutherlies. Wo have had over n week of calms and light variahle, winds with a. comparatively smooth sea, and th£ result, as I have indicated, is that the sand has been redeposited to a considerable extent, as all may see by inspection of the beach. Northerly winds, being of! shore, tend to knook the sea down, and thus help the process of redepositing.—l am, etc., St. Claib. March 13.
