The half-yearly installation of Linda Robekah Lodge, No. t, 1.0.0. F., was well attended by members and visitors. Before the installation commenced one candidate was initiated. L.D.D. Sister Fkiwn was in attendance, and, assisted by the Grand Lodge officers, D.G.M. Bro. W. Smith, D.G.W. Sister M'Arthur, D.G.C. Sister Kilpatrick, and D.G.I.G. Bro. Shore, installed the following officers:—J.R.G. Sister M. Bakw; N.G., Sister M. Bartlett (P.G.); .V.G., Sasfcer G. Bartlett; Secretary, Sister . N. Wilkinson (ic-eleoted); Treasurer,, Sister M. Kerrmitz (re-elected); Warden, Sister D. Dawson; Conductor, Sister A. Larimer; CSiaplain, Sister H. Davie fP.GJ ; L Guardian, Sister E. "White; 8.5. N.G., Sister E. Wilkinson; L.S.N.G., Sister W. White; R.8.V.G., Sister L. Bell; L.S.V.G., Sister W. Bartlett. On behalf of the Grand Lodge officers, L.D.D. Sister Flawn oongratwlated the wwly-installed officers, wishing them every success and a pleasant term in office. The vote of thank-3 to installing officers was carried by acclamation. Bro. Smith mentioned that tlwre was a probability of a visit to New Zealand of the founder of Linda Lodge. He also presented Sister E. Wilkinson with a Past Grand's certificate.

The monthly mooting of the executive of the St. John Ambulance Association was held at headquarters, when a considerable amount of routine work was put through. the Christchirrch conferenos was. before the meeting, and, with certain additions, was approved. During the month of December t.ho district nursing was carried on by the throe nurses and their helpers. There are now 46 patients on ™e. list, nroossitating 367 visits. Four new patients wcto added to the number, n.ud thero weire two deaths. During December them were 70 cases of ambulance transport attended by motor and horse amhulajicos. No complaints have been received in regard to the service. From Januarv 1, the motor ambulanrrs have been stationed at flic Central Fire Brigade Station. The financial statement was before the committee. p.nd. showed an overdraft of £47, with liabilities of about £100.
