— The great " Cullinan" diamond was once taken from a bank \<lult, int' whicii it was being safeguarded, and shown to the King of Spain. For that special "show" it was insured at Lloyd's for na.lt a million pounds. The rate was only 6d per cent., yet tho underwriters shared £250 among them on the transaction.
