A MELBOURNE SENSATION
SIX PRISONERS ESCAPE. Preau Association—By Telegraph—Copyright MELBOURNE, September 12. (Received Sept. 13, at 0.45 a.m.) There was a sensational escape of six long-sentence prisoners en route to Pentridge. They forced the boards at the bottom of the prison van and escaped unnoticed. No arrests have been made.
